JOB DESCRIPTION |

Evaluate product needs to identify feature engineering requirements; provide estimates of development effort required to implement feature; create and document high level design for feature implementation |

When necessary, develop prototype to demonstrate proof-of-concept |

Work with other developers to design and implement interfaces to other components in the system |

Implement feature design using C/C++ or Java |
| • |
Perform unit-testing to verify implementation meets feature requirements and is defect-free |

Demonstrate test-readiness of feature to managers, testers, and other developers at milestone reviews |

Debug and resolve defects found during test cycle of feature development |

Bachelor’s degree in telecommunications, computer science or related field is desired. Must have a strong background in telecommunications operations and analysis and the ability to provide consultative guidance to clients as part of a sophisticated managed security service for voice. Candidate must have technical, hands-on experience with the deployment, implementation, maintenance and operation of customer premised equipment (CPE) including private branch exchange (PBX) systems and/or VoIP based call management systems. |

SecureLogix is looking for an experienced Resident Engineer for our Bentonville office.
REQUIREMENTS |

The successful candidate is a skilled communicator able to become a trusted extension of the customer’s telecom and security teams. The candidate is also skilled in system administration of server based, enterprise-level management applications. As is a telecommunications application, the candidate will also have extensive experience in the deployment, implementation, operation or administration of customer premised equipment (CPE) including private branch exchange (PBX) systems and/or VoIP based call management systems.
-The candidate must have a minimum of three years systems administration experience or a formal certification such as CISSP, MCSE or Microsoft Certified System Administrator (MCSA).

Primary interface between the customer’s telecom/security teams and the SecureLogix Professional Services organization, interpreting, translating and effectively communicating customer requirements |

Provide valued decision support assistance to senior levels decision makers on best practices recommendations for telecommunications management and security

Daily system administration of the SecureLogix Enterprise Telephony Management (ETM) application along with the associated operating system and Oracle relational database |
| • |
Ensure data processing systems are administered in accordance with best commercial practices including account management, password management, physical access, electronic access, auditing, system backups, data integrity, segregation and protection of customer confidential information |
| • |
Skilled in the installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Customer Premised Equipment (CPE) supporting T-1/E-1 CAS, T-1/E-1 ISDN, T-1/E-1 SS7, SIP and POTS circuits |
| • |
Monitor Telco alerts and lead troubleshooting efforts with end customer and telecom provider |
| • |
Coordinating, scheduling and managing change control operations |
